Dear Reader, Sat Shri Akal!

It is my honour to take this opportunity to thank you for taking interest in Punjabi Virsa Arts and Culture Academy and Nachdi Jawani Bhangra Group. I will share with you a brief history of this organization and its outstanding accomplishments within the past ten years. Today PVACA is the largest Bhangra and Giddha Academy in the world and has taught approximately 7500 students to date, with a current base of 1,000. This is not the result of any one individual’s hard work, it is the result of the hard work, teamwork and dedication of Nachdi Jawani and

the Punjabi Vaca team, which has been working devotedly and lovingly to make this academy successful in achieving the goal of promoting and preserving the Punjabi culture. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the entire team behind this academy, regardless of whether they are instructors, management, dancers, well-wishers or corporate professionals. Collaboratively, with the help of all these individuals and organizations we are able to share our message and extend our services to the community and will continue to do so and attain the same results. Furthermore, community and media professionals have also aided to make this academy the success it is by providing the means for us to gain public recognition and attention for our message and goal. On a more personal note, I would also like to thank my family and friends, who stood by me during the creation of this academy and always understood and cooperated with me, regardless of how time-consuming or hectic things may have gotten. It was always my dream that this community work that was initially started eight years ago by a small team, should continue to flourish, regardless of mine, or any other individual’s presence. In the coming years, we would hope to receive the same support from our team so that we can continue to entertain, teach and aid the community for generations and generations to come and maintain our ambition of keeping culture alive. Thank you for your continued support and interest!

Hello All!

It’s my pleasure to share my feelings about Nachdi Jawani. These guys are the best! It’s good to see that even though they are living so far away from Punjab, they are still continuing to endorse Punjabi Culture here in Canada! Especially the kids, I love to watch them dancing our loo naach Bhangra! Nachdi Jawani and their academy always give me so much respect and help every time I visit Toronto! Thanks again and keep up the good work! Keep smiling, Peace!

This is Sukhsinder Shinda, writing to you from England- I wanted to take this opportunity to congratulate Nachdi Jawani and Punjabi VACA for their great work and dedication to promoting our culture! In 2002 I was at the grand opening of the first academy location of PVACA, and it was amazing! It’s great to hear about the Guinness World record and the continuing success stories! Best wishes!

Hanji !

I am very proud to be a member of Nachdi Jawani and PVACA, the work that we started many years ago is now succeeding at such a fast pace with such a strong team. We hope to see more and more children and families becoming involved with the academy and continue to support our work.
